Easily type classical and Biblical Greek with all accents and breathing marks using a logical, phonetic keyboard input. For example, type alpha on the 'a' key and add the smooth breathing by typing the 'j' key. The breathing mark is automatically placed over the previously-typed alpha. (This layout has become a de facto standard among classical and Biblical Greek scholars.) The product also includes a keyboard layout following the WordPerfect Greek3 layout, which will be familiar to users of the WordPerfect Greek Module. The fonts install into Microsoft® Windows XP 2000, NT, Me, 98, 95, or 3.1x and work with all Windows XP-, 2000-, NT-, Me-, 98-, 95- and 3.1x-compatible applications that allow the user to select fonts from a font menu. The Type 1 fonts require Adobe Type Manager® in Windows Me/98/95/3.1. The product includes a User's Manual, keyboard layout chart(s), Character Code Tables showing every character in the font(s) and a keysticker sheet. The included Keyboard Switcher utility provides four characters per key in Windows and alternate keyboard layouts. The fonts alone (without Keyboard Switcher) will install into Linux, and will work with Word 6 for DOS, WordPerfect 6.0b for DOS or newer, and any other DOS application that recognizes Windows TrueType and/or Type 1 fonts. These fonts will print to any Windows printer at the highest quality allowed by your printer. Professional-quality, hinted, scalable Greek fonts in both TrueType® and ATM®-compatible, Type 1 language font formats. LaserGreek II Greek fonts include all 35 accents, breathing marks, iota subscripts, and diereses needed to type classical and Biblical Greek. These may be typed over any symbol in any combination. Each Greek font also includes the Nestle-Aland, UBS, Leiden, and TLG text-critical symbols and sigla as well as the Roman alphabet and French and German accents. The Windows and Macintosh Greek fonts are ASCII-compatible with each other and with LaserGreek Greek fonts, allowing easy file conversion between Windows and Macintosh platforms. Greek fonts included in LaserGreek II are GraecaUBS, a light text font similar to Rahlf's Septuaginta font. The italic style matches the style of the regular text of the UBS Greek New Testament, 1st through 3rd editions, and was created at their request for future editions. GraecaUBS is provided in plain, bold, italic, and bold-italic styles. GreekSans II, a Helvetica®- (Arial®-style) sans serif Greek font with classical accents and letters. It is provided in plain, bold, italic, and bold-italic styles. Hellenica, a new font optimized for classical Greek with similarities in style to the SymbolGreek® font found in the original LaserGreek product. Hellenica is provided in plain, bold, italic, and bold-italic styles. HellenicaExtras, a Hellenica-style font that provides extra characters for epigraphical and textual studies. These extra characters are found only in HellenicaExtras and OdysseaExtras, and are not in any of the LaserGreek or LaserGreek II fonts. HellenicaExtras is provided in plain, bold, italic, and bold-italic styles. OdysseaUBS, the font style of the bold text in the UBS Greek New Testament, 1st through 3rd editions. Odyssea, a standard classical Greek typeface. Odyssea is provided in plain, bold, italic, and bold-italic styles. OdysseaExtras, an Odyssea-style font that provides extra characters for epigraphical and textual studies. These extra characters are found only in OdysseaExtras and HellenicaExtras, and are not in any of the LaserGreek or LaserGreek II fonts.
