Tajik is an Iranian language closely related to Persian (referred to as Farsi in parts of Iran); however, unlike Persian's use of the Arabic alphabet, Tajik uses the Cyrillic. A brief survey of Tajik grammar and a phrasebook section with ready-made sentnences for everyday situations are included. There are also comments on Tajik culture and lifestyle. The language used is the Tajik of Dushanbe.
