Kaska is spoken in Canada, in the southeastern Yukon (around Watson Lake and Ross River) and northern British Columbia (around Lower Post and Good Hope Lake).
Kaska is a Northern Athapaskan language closely related to Tahltan and Tagish. It is endangered, with a small number of speakers, mostly elders, and the Kaska Dena communities are working to teach it to younger people.
