Shuswap

Shuswap (Secwepemctsin) is spoken in Canada, in the interior of British Columbia, in the region around Kamloops, the Shuswap Lakes, and the upper Fraser River.
Shuswap is the northernmost Interior Salish language. It is critically endangered, with a few hundred speakers, mostly elders, but the Secwepemc communities have immersion schools and language programs.
