Gbaya (Gbaya-Manza) is spoken in the western Central African Republic, eastern Cameroon, and northern Republic of the Congo.
The Gbaya languages belong to the Ubangian group of Niger-Congo (formerly called Adamawa-Eastern). Together with Manza they have over 1 million speakers. Many speakers also use Sango, the national language of the Central African Republic.
