Chilcotin (Tsilhqot'in) is spoken in Canada, in the interior of British Columbia, west of Williams Lake.
Chilcotin is a Northern Athapaskan language with about 1,000 speakers. It is still learned by some children. In 2014 the Tsilhqot'in Nation won a landmark case in the Supreme Court of Canada recognizing its title to its traditional land.
