Language Information

Igorot is the collective name for the peoples of the Cordillera mountains of northern Luzon in the Philippines, and for their languages.
The Igorot languages, including Ifugao, Kankanaey, Ibaloi, Bontoc, and Kalinga, are Philippine languages of the Austronesian family. The Ifugao built the famous rice terraces of Banaue, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
