Keresan is spoken in the United States, in seven Pueblos of New Mexico: Acoma, Laguna, Cochiti, Kewa (Santo Domingo), San Felipe, Santa Ana, and Zia.
Keresan is a language isolate, not related to any other known language, with dialect differences between the eastern and western Pueblos. It has about 10,000 speakers. Acoma Pueblo, the "Sky City," is one of the oldest continuously inhabited settlements in the United States.
