Moso (Mosuo, or Na) is spoken in southwestern China, around Lugu Lake on the border of Yunnan and Sichuan provinces.
Moso is a Tibeto-Burman language closely related to Naxi, with about 40,000 speakers. The Mosuo are famous for their matrilineal society and "walking marriage," in which couples do not live together.
