Pima (Akimel O'odham) is spoken in the United States, in southern Arizona, on the Gila River and Salt River reservations, and in northern Mexico.
Pima is a Uto-Aztecan language, closely related to Tohono O'odham (Papago). It is endangered, with a few thousand speakers, most of them older adults.
