Rarotongan (Cook Islands Maori) is spoken in the Cook Islands and by the larger Cook Islands community in New Zealand and Australia.
Rarotongan is a Polynesian language closely related to New Zealand Maori and Tahitian. It is an official language of the Cook Islands but is endangered, with most young people using English.
