Tung (Dong, or Kam) is spoken in southern China, in Guizhou, Hunan, and Guangxi provinces.
Tung is a Kam-Sui language of the Tai-Kadai family, with about 1.5 to 2 million speakers. The Dong are famous for their wooden drum towers, covered "wind-and-rain" bridges, and polyphonic "grand songs."
