Language Information

Kissi is spoken in southeastern Guinea, northern Sierra Leone, and northwestern Liberia.
Kissi is a West Atlantic language of the Mel group, with about 500,000 speakers.

English translation

All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights. They are endowed with reason and conscience and should act towards one another in a spirit of brotherhood.
