English-Slovak Dictionary (HC)

Following years of research, Dr. Jan Simko created The English-Slovak Dictionary, the most comprehensive and scholarly volume of its kind. The 1,445-page dictionary was first published in 1967 by the Slovak Pedagogical Publishing House in Bratislava, Czecho-Slovakia, and reprinted in 1968 and 1971. For two decades, teachers, scholars and students have been deprived of this excellent reseource… but now it is once more available.

There is no other book on the subject that comes close to matching the depth of research and scholarship that went into creating The English-Slovak Dictionary. It serves both as a guide to the Slovak language and an important bridge between Slovakia and the English-language world.
